With the capture of Marauder's hulk along with annihilation of their leadership, the end of Ghost House' control in Trinitatis System has begun. The entire planet of Secundus had experienced it massive uprising with Lord Leonidas unifying the once-scattered groups. By this time, which has been nearly two months since their arrival, two of the three metropolises has been taken with the capital being under siege and majority of Ghost Houses' military being used to police the unruly populace. Unfortunately, the news of the Fleet's successes had got the attention of the traitor's fleet near Inanis and the admiral ordered to return to crush the rebellion. In addition, the liberation fleet led by Captain Augustus Lemartes have been battered even with the success at the Hulk. Majority of their ships are in need of repairs, their Legionnaires is at half strength, and civilian volunteers are not enough to restore its fighting strength to the fullest. The best thing the fleet can do it to order a quick repair before heading to the path of the Chaul fleet to delay until the reinforcements arrived six hours later. Even after their message of their successes and request to aid them had been sent to the incoming fleet, the entire Vanguard fleet would not be able to stop their suppression and may roll back the entire liberation efforts by weeks, if not months. The ingenious Cassian fleet superior had to made the best out of everything he has after his fleet is in need of recovery after the massive assault at the Marauder's Hulk.
Captain Lemartes later look at the supply of Marauder's war assets that he may utilize for anything to halt the Chaul fleet. Their ships may be well-armed and might act as disguise, but the “disguised ships” units would be redundant since the news of their demise had reached to their ears. The Chaul command maybe arrogant and incompetent ones, but they are not daft enough to fall for that with the update. Lemartes then looked for ideas on explosive laden ghost ships to be sent at the fleet, which at best could take minor damage before most of them were blown apart from distance. Then he realized something and contacted Iji Lux at his cruiser Bezgelor Finest where he stayed to tinker to his liking. Lemartes then talked to Iji for request to build him a custom-made fleet weapon in time before the Chaul fleet comes to Secundus. Iji then smiles after hearing his request, which Chua gladly went to work on creating a secret weapon and modifications for Lemartes' war assets. Two hours before the main fleet arrives, the fleet managed to get most of its firepower online and head to fight in what will be known as Battle of the Trinity System.
The Chaul fleet had made full speed ahead to Secundus system when they hear the news of the fall of Marauder's Hulk along with their fruitless search that distracted them until now. Nevertheless, their fleet power is still enough to regain control over their domain and wipe out the rebel fleet. As they approach in proximity to Mons shipyard, their ships' detection discovered an array of ships heading towards them. The admiral, who was known to be gullible enough to trap in Inanis area for two months without bothering to leave garrisons, finally showed his rare intellect when he only sent three long range escorts to check the “attackers”. Then, as he suspected, the fleet turned out to be a bait and proceed to move forward. They were then harassed by three repeated attacks by Dominus Glory and Ravok Rage with its ordinance before falling back for good. It only caused the fleet to shaken and disarray, but not damaged and kept moving on. Then as the ship sighted the Mons' dockyard, they sensed the detection above their formations where their previous formations since the skirmish caused delays in returning fire. It was a single re purposed Marauder warship fitted with high speed boosters heading towards the flagship. By the time the fleet managed to turn to open fire, it was destroyed but only with it to drift towards two capital ships that left both of them in heavy damages. Then Dominus Glory and Ravok Rage arrived for the final run at the now panicking fleet. Massive energy cannons from these two ships slammed its high-energy accurate beams towards the Chaul fleet, which finished off one of the crippled ships and destroyed six escorts. The surviving ships began to experience damages in weapon systems, even the flagship got its munition sections exploded that caused both crippling blow and no longer able to load its now empty weaponry. The fleet try to return fire but the two escorts' speed allowed it to evade fire while bringing out massive damages to them before withdrawing as their energy and coolant system reached their maximum limits. Out of six cruisers and 18 escorts, only five cruisers and 12 remained in action with various levels of damages. The crippled fleet move to Mons, which is still under their control albeit still contesting with rebels.
The Battle of Trinitates System entered its second phase when the ships of Chaul managed to make whatever docks are still in their hands to make repairs. Finally got their chance to destroy Chaul's stranglehold once and for all, Augustus Lemartes fleet began to move in for a final blow. The alert was sounded and Chaul's fleet—now made up of four cruisers and 12 escorts—scrambled to meet their rivals' strength of two cruisers and nine escorts. As usual, Chaul fleet sent out skirmishers made out of six escorts to harass the fleet with Lemartes launched a counter unit made out of fighters and two escorts (Ravoks Rage and Dominus Glory, still armed with their initial high energy turrets). The light assault groups from both sides began to experience heavy casualties from attrition before withdrawing to their main fleet as both of them move forward. With the stalemates in their skirmish battle, Commander Lemartes realized his mistake on sending the two escorts with heavy weapons on skirmish and plan to repair his flaws by sending out Unyielding Wills and Unending Vigils with their missile payloads. As the main fleet exchanged fires, the two destroyers moved in flanking maneuver with half of remaining fighters loaded with anti-capital weapons. Despite the risks of being intercepted, the flanking ships managed to unleash their payloads. While the few missiles managed to hit their targets, even destroying the last crippled cruiser from initial attack run, they also played addition roles as the ship's dodging maneuver caused either collision or distracted from noticing the fighter's payloads. As the battle approached its end, the Chaul fleet was down to a single flagship and four escorts. In contrast, Lemartes fleet lost significant portions (45%) of their fighters along with two destroyers withdrawing from systems overload and two cruisers in heavy damage. Then the arrival of the Dominion main fleet caused the Chaul to escape to the last known strongholds of Marauders. It was then Captain Augustus Lemartes was cited by the fleet's admiral with highest honors for his resourcefulness and tactical acumen at Trinitates System.
