Are you wondering what happened to your character sheet, housing lot, guild, or business page? Or maybe that special thread about an RP you were organizing. Not to worry! It's still here, just archived somewhere.

On June 10, 2015 we did a major forum reorganization to make it easier to navigate the forums. We moved a lot of threads to their new destination and are in the process of retagging them, but we did not move threads that had not been updated since October 2014 when Megaservers hit WildStar.

To restore your thread, you can contact Peppercorn or Sri Nutmoon.

HOW TO SEARCH FOR YOUR MISSING THREAD

  1. Go to your profile page by clicking on your profile picture at the top right of this page.
  2. Once on your profile page, look at the bottom right and click the view all posts link.
  3. Browse through your old posts until you find it, then copy the link.
  4. Send the link to a mod (Peppercorn or Sri Nutmoon) or post it here, whatever's easier.
  5. We'll take care of it from there!

ALTERNATIVE SEARCH METHOD

Use Google Site Search! For example, if I were searching the site for mythical character "Jor Happenpants" I would enter the following search query into the Google box:

site:www.wildstar-roleplay.com "Jor Happenpants"

You may find this method easier than the first method, though it depends on Google's cache and may not work in all cases. Click here to try it.

Thanks for your patience during this time of transition!

By keeping your tags updated, you can help newcomers to WildStar roleplaying discover people and places they can actually see in-game! This mainly affects character sheets, which used to be a single forum but is now split into server-specific forums.

1. USE FACTION TITLE TAGS IN SERVER-SPECIFIC FORUMS

Use [Dominion] or [Exile] title tags when posting in a server-specific subforums. Here's the list:
  • Events
  • Guild News & Recruitment
  • Character Sheets
  • Organizations, Circles, and Open Lots

The server title tags are NOT NEEDED in the above server-specfic subforums. If you like them, update them to the current server name (e.g. Evindra is now Entity, Lightspire is now Jabbit) so people can tell that your guild, circle, or character is still active!

If you have the same character or guild on BOTH servers, then post the main thread on the server forum of your choice and post a link to it on the other. That way, you just need to maintain one listing.

2. USE SERVER TITLE TAGS WHEN IT MATTERS

The server title tags are useful when posting in Interactive Forum RP, as this spans all servers. Read the Forum RP Format sticky thread in that forum to see how it works!

If you're brainstorming, planning, or recruiting for an RP in the Meet the Community (OOC) forums, use server and faction title tags as necessary.

Server title tags are also useful when posting in the OOC Introductions forum if you want to cut down on the "hey what server are you on?" questions. It is not mandatory.

The goal of these guidelines is to help people find RP quickly. Knowing if a character, guild, housing lot, or organization is on their server and in their faction right in the title helps IMMENSELY.

Thanks for reading and continuing to make WSRP an accessible and enjoyable community!
